I don't know. Even at this price I wouldn't get it. maybe if it was $10. I paid $35 for it, but found the straps, that are used for extra support, on the back uncomfortable. So I returned it.

Have you tried it with a mattress pad? I imagine sleeping directly on it would be terrible but with a pad, it might be acceptable.

No, I haven't, but the straps really could be felt through the fabric. I guess If I had a thick enough pad, it would be better. Also the cot its self is on the narrow side. Not much room for moving or stretching out.
