Looking on the iOS App Store, it was updated six times in the last month. I am not counting the entire update history, but there are at least 20 updates in the last 10 months.
It's why I stick with Hue, their hardware has been solid, as has their software. We bought a few things Govee and the hardware seems fine, but their app was not amazing. Maybe fine for the price difference for some, but I like something that is consistently solid and will pay a bit more for it.
Is there a strict limit to how many lights can sync at once say to the tv, I have read 10 but wanted to know if anyone has ever breeched that limit?
Thanks

You can actually have more then 10 light zones colors, like the hue tv gradient strip is really 5 zones, but one device. The regular gradient hue light strips are 3 segments, but also are only one device.
I have noticed the sync box has overload issues when doing this. I think it's overheating the cpu. Someday I'll cut it open and verify.
For now I use the the gradient tv wrap and 1 gradient strip on the ceiling pointed at the tv wall to give me a nice wash of colors.
I have 7 other hue lights in the room, but don't use them when watching movies.
Now when I play music, I use a different entertainment area, same room, and have 5 additional lights going. No problem with that set-up. Ended up with a second sync box for that due to cable routing issues.
