I'm using FIREFOX BROWSER to go to slickdeals.net everyday. But today, it's getting an 500 ERROR CODE. First, it shows 500 error code on the main page slickdeals.net. After I tried to find out what is 500 code error meaning. It said that I should CLEAR BROSWER'S CACHE AND COOKIES. I followed it and clear cache and cookies of slickdeals.net.

After I clear cache and cookies, I could able to go on slickdeals.net main page no problem. But when I click on any product deal, it shows 500 code error again. I checked with other browser like CHROME and EDGE. It seems to be fine. It only got problems with FIREFOX BROWSER from today. Admin needs to check the website.

I attach few pictures to show the problem below.

I'm getting this as well; I have to delete the cookie and log in again to fix it, but then the next time I refresh the page it's 500 Error again. The funny thing is I have another computer in the house also with Firefox and it's not happening to that one.

Hi all.

Thank you very much JD713 for taking the time to create a thread about this issue here. We're also receiving some similar reports through other channels so it's definitely not something that is only affecting just a few of you. We're very grateful for all the the details we've received about how you all are viewing the site and what you have tried so far on your end.

At this point, it seems likely this problem is primarily impacting a certain percentage of Firefox users (including some using the mobile version of that browser). Our teams are aware of the situation and looking more into it but we don't have any solid estimate on when it may be fully solved. For now, the only known workaround is to use a browser other than Firefox.

Once we hear more from our teams investigating the matter, we'll follow up with an update.

was working fine on super-fresh Win11/Firefox install until yesterday. Then error 500 popped up. When loading a page I can see the deal for just a fraction of a moment before it changes to the error code.

tried the slick deals forums as well. when clicking on a hot deals topic, I again can see the deal loading for just a blip, then it changes to 500 error.

This morning my desktop computer got logged out after being logged in basically forever.

I could tell because my typical UI was different, but I still tried clicking on deals because I was planning on re-logging in soon anyways.

Problem is every deal I clicked on would flash on the screen for less than half a second then give me the 500 error too.

No matter what deal I clicked on.

The problem went away when I logged back in, but I also use the classic interface, so I don't know if that affected anything.

I don't have any issues with my phone app.

I just tried on my work computer and the same 500 error occurred because I don't log in to the site on my work computer

What OS and browser are you both using? There was another report of 500 errors today for people who are using Firefox.

I'm using Linux Mint 22.1 and Firefox. The front page loads briefly and then quickly shows a 500 error, wiping the content on the page as it does so.

For now, I turned of javascript for slickdeals via uMatrix, and this lets me load the front page without issue. Of course, some things aren't fully working such as replying to threads, but it's easy enough to toggle JS on and off as needed.

As the title says, when i click on a deal to view it, i get an error 500 page.

When i disable all my extensions, themes and refresh the browser, i still have the issue.

When I visit via chrome, edge, brave (most of which run the same extensions as i do in ffox, i dont have the issue)

It's happening on all my machines.

Any help would be appreciated.
