I don't know how much is just review bombing for recent sentiment about the company, but there are a lot of DOA complaints. Seems like a nice board otherwise. About as cheap as you will see for this chip set.

I have the NZXT N7 Z390 in my white build from several years ago. It's completely barebones with a laughable bios.

If you see the Gamers Nexus video on the company and its business practices, you would understand. I wouldn't consider this unless you could guarantee that not a single dollar went back to NZXT ... and even then, I'd just as soon not buy anything with NZXT written on it.

the CPU problems have been fixed. intels rep otoh, well that remains to be seen.

If you're going to buy anything NZXT, make sure it's a case. At least there's no software (CAM also garners a lot of hate), and they can't lock you out of anything at a later time.
