question about selling back unused PTO as employee of UHG

Asking for a friend. She sold back her PTO and here it is end of February and she spent an hour with HR on the phone. She wanted to know where her $ was. They claim she didn't "sign" the paperwork requesting the refund. Is there anything she can do?

Well if she has no proof all she can do is wait until the next time she can sell back the PTO if it is another year she will probably get more $$ per hour on the bright side.
