Not sure if there's another product out there that can almost do everything as a DAC, streamer & a preamp in a very decent look package that has a built-in screen, and full support for mobile streaming apps.. plus HDMI arc support.
Why don't you suggest a fully comparable product that does the exact same thing... and offer a lower price?
Good streamer and DAC if you like the Wiim interface. Do not recommend the analog inputs though. It does some kind of processing on them and the phono input and audio coming through the RCA in sounded weird. This unit also used to have channel bleed where some of the right and left channels would bleed into the other. Not sure if that is fixed now. My friend had one of these near launch and returned it due to the RCA issues. Might have just been a launch thing or a bad unit though.

I wasn't talking about the Wiim Ultra, I was responding to the suggestion of going with a Wiim Mini instead.
