Mine had a bug where if I turned off animations, I couldn't multitask. The recent apps button would stop working. If I turned on animations the phone was noticeably slower.
After 2 months, my screen had lots of small scratches and I had the phone in a case and never dropped it.
Was so happy I bought at Costco and could return. Now have a s25, that was the same price. S25 is better in all aspects. And even at power save , cpu at 70% its faster than the pixel 9.
So while thus is historically a good price, the base pixel 9 phone is not worth this price. Its a budget phone, 599 should be normal and 499 a deal.

Had a Pixel 7 Pro and wanted to upgrade. Considered the Pixel 9, but ultimately went with S25+ 256gb for $399 via Google Fi. 4 months Flex plan $20 monthly service offset by $60 referral and $25 LA fires credits.
