One more thing to consider is Hisense's poor quality control. The 3-year warranty from Costco is definitely a plus.

The left one is literally better in every way
They are both terrible. Hisense is bottom of the barrel brand and forums are filled with customer complaints about failed units after 2-3 years.
This is not accurate. Hisense has been rated high on rtings LED TVs many times. U8 and U7 series are great. I have Hisense, and LG oled and have had many others. I have never had a single issue with my Hisense. Rtings has Hisense LED tvs ranked 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th based on overall mixed usage under 3k.

That's why I am buying a 65" TCL S5 from Sam's Club instead of this. The 3 year warranty and easy returns sold me.
Great! I love TCL. Spend a bit more and get the 65Q651G. You should be able to find one at Sam's Club for around $350.

I have a 4 year old U6GR, 1 year old U8K, 9 year old H8C. No issues on any of them. Also have a TCL R646, LG C2, also no issues.
I purchased 2 Hisense android smart TVs in 2020 and one failed in 2022 and the other in 2023. RTings isn't considering the longevity just the picture and sound. Even before they died, the TVs became super slow because Hisense used bottom barrel processors and only 4gb of bottom barrel storage. Both TV constantly said they were running out of storage even after clearing out custom apps. I wouldn't buy Hisense again.
It's not specific to Hisense but it does seem to be most common on those Hisense TV's from about 2020-2023, it doesn't take much of the storage to fail on the lower end TV's that only have 4gb to start. I suggest with any smart TV to just grab a streaming stick of your preference and avoid the internal system outside of adjusting the picture settings, updating the firmware, etc.
The Fire TV 4k Max was on sale for $29.99 yesterday, this is one of the fastest streaming sticks and blows away most budget TV's smart systems in terms of performance.
