It's very much a Dark Souls-like game. Lose all currency when you die and you have to get back past the re-spawned enemies to get it back, bosses that are easy when you learn their attack pattern, vague story that you only have to follow if you want to learn lore (otherwise just kill everything), NPCs you can talk to and/or kill, etc, etc.

If you like those types of games, you'll like Mortal Shell. I enjoyed it.

Yup, still have it on my system as well as the DLC. Wish they would make a sequel. Simple gameplay but satisfying with the different weapons/combos. Lore and atmosphere is awesome.

Agreed! It's gorgeous for such a small team, and was an incredibly satisfying 100%! That dlc was fuuuun.

That hammer and chisel is my favorite but still fun learning the mace and Martyr's blade.
