Anyone see any deals on the mid-torque version? The HT one is just too big/heavy I think. Tried them both in the store and there is a marked difference.

Just need one for lug nuts and the like.
Thanks.

I have the regular brushless version from 2019 (model: R86011) - 620 lb/ft breakaway torque. It sometimes struggles breaking loose lug nuts that I have previously torqued to less than 150lbs. So you may want the heavy duty version which has more than double that amount.

My rigid sub compact breaks 130ftlb lugs all day with ease. 4ah max bats. I have the large nxt version as well, It's overkill for anything on my truck so far. I find it weird your R86011 would struggle with any lugs 150 and less. are you using adaptors? or 1/2 straight to socket?

Thanks.

You don't even need mid torque for that. As another person said, I also had a sub compact low torque before I got the high torque, and the sub compact ripped lugs off, no problem. In fact, it did all the work I needed to do for a long time, until I needed to get a crank pulley bolt off. Then I had to upgrade.
