Already have the Q8+ and SP36. Otherwise, worth a shot for a combo spot/flood.

I have the sp as my flood. Should I have gone with the q8+ / pro instead? At the time I wasn't sure if the price premium justified the difference in performance (based on comparo vids).

CHANGE BRIGHTNESS LEVEL: When the flashlight is on, rotate clockwise to ramp up, and the light flashes once when the brightness reaches its maximum. Rotate counterclockwise to ramp down. Long press the switch to cycle through: Floodlight (30lm-12000lm)→Spotlight (10lm-2500lm)→Spotlight & Floodlight (40lm-12000lm).
If I was going to get a second light it would have to have a huge spotlight only distance, so this one isn't for me, but it seems decent for the price. I'm still happy with my ancient 2000lm Sofirn C8G which for me is the absolute perfect light. Perfect color temp, very good spotlight distance, continuously adjustable brightness, compact, inexpensive, long run time.

"The emitters appear to have been chosen to maximum the beam distance and lumens. It would be nice if some high CRI Nichia 519A emitters with a nice tint are used instead of these cool white TN-3535 emitters. The low CRI 6500K Luminus SFT40 emitter could be swapped out for a high CRI 3000K Luminus SFT40. The beam distance and lumen output might decrease with these other emitters but I think that the beam would look nicer."
