Results with Amazon basics batteries are very very mixed. Some people report having good success, others report having many them die quick.

The only thing I've seen that's pretty universal is that this 2000mah size is better than the 2400mah "high capacity" one.

My personal results have been positive, but many many others aren't.

I have used these in my xbox controllers, they are the 2nd worst rechargeables I've tried. They last about half as long as batteries of the same mAh. They work, but don't last long (per use, unsure about total lifetime)

For reference = I've tried Bonai, Mupoer, Duracell, EBL Rayovak, Tenergy. Rayovaks were probably the worst.

I use cheap batteries like this for LED candles (can drain rechargeables too low and damage them) and outdoor decorations (waterproof battery compartments aren't), but I generally need them cheaper than this, but this is for people who need a charger. Unfortunately, never tried the Amazon charger.

Im pretty much buying just for the charger. Any other recommendations for chargers near this price?

ended up cancelling this and going with the powerowl charger

It will but for the same price u can get an intelligent charger that will trickle charge the final amount (which should increase battery life/cycles)
