This is a regular price at Walmart for their generic brand.

For those who are sensitive to or can't have wheat, this Soy Sauce is safe to eat. The Walmart Great Value brand is made with wheat.

This includes a bunch of additional junk compared to a Kikkoman or other reputable sauce. Those don't have MSG or caramel coloring added unlike this.

While MSG is 100% safe to consume, I agree there is a bunch of junk added to this as well. You get what you pay for here.

Kikkoman and other Japanese brand soy sauce are the only ones I buy. As a Flipino, I grew up in a household that only bought cheap soy sauce. Once I tried Kikkoman, I realized that there was a stark difference in taste. The cheap brands taste like salted water +msg in comparison.

You can really taste the difference between this piss and real Japanese soy sauce.

I don't get this product. why don't you buy the regular one and mix with water instead?

I agree, it's perfectly safe to consume but makes me think that it's hiding otherwise poor and watered down ingredients. Note how the first ingredient of this soy sauce is "soy sauce" and then has a bunch of other things added. Soy sauce has plenty of umami flavor on its own without needing a flavor enhancer (MSG), so it's probably compensating for the bad quality.
