I dont need more batteries but at this price, I am extremely tempted
Yes, I just had one replaced two weeks ago from a set I bought 6 years ago. Free shipping both ways and a brand new battery.

Anyone have any experience with this lifetime warranty?! That's pretty crazy is it's a good warranty. These batteries will die eventually!

This is a really good price on these batteries. I paid more than this years ago starting out.
I know there are better batteries but this is a good start to the Ridgid system.

If I recall, in the past, batteries purchased alone did not have a lifetime warranty, but batteries in a kit did.
Sure seems like this comes with a lifetime warranty, so either that's changed, or maybe since it comes with a charger, it's considered a kit?

Batteries alone now are covered by the lifetime warranty, not just with a tool. Can't quote the date but the policy did change some time back in the past few years.

All batteries are now included in the LSA. I forget the date, but it was a year or two ago when they changed the policy. You have to register them!

Tempted to get some. Kids power wheel's batteries are starting to die and converting them to what I've already got would be nice.

This is accurate. I discussed directly with LSA support. They confirmed that all are covered. Ridgid has the best warranty in the power tool business.

Buy the 6-way charger for $140.

I have replaced a battery under the lifetime warranty. They just sent me a new one and didn't ask for the old one back.

I also replaced a 6 year old drill. Free shipping for them to inspect it and sent a brand new one in box back.

Sequential charging (one at a time). The dual port one is better.

I got their oscillating belt/spindle sander replaced under warranty. They sent a new one and told me to keep all the extra stuff and just send back the old carcass.

Oh that's cool I only had to use my service agreement one time in the 10 years or so I've been buying tools from rigid. Shipping was free one way at that time but there was a reasonably local service center so I just took it there.
