More than likely these are fake.
Cable not included, just the brick, high chance to get counterfeit Apple product, not worth the risk, price is not cheap anyway.
When you connect an Apple charger to your Macbook, you can see the AC charger information under Settings->System Information->Hardware->Power. I wonder if fake chargers can also fake the data shown there? (charger name, serial number, manufacturer, watts, etc.)

Best Buy used to have great open box deals on these Apple chargers but they hiked the prices last year.

Have gotten tons of Apple products from Woot before.

Are there any notable examples of them having counterfeits?

Everything I've gotten from Woot has been real and legitimate (maybe 20 different items over the last 3-4 years). This is a great price, but seeing the previous comments is making me second guess buying one of these despite me having zero issues with Woot.

Used to be $40 not so long ago. Must be selling overstock because there is a lot of good and cheap alternatives with multiple ports. Also new apple versions with multiple ports are probably on the way.

Just wondering what's the point of getting these over a 3rd party one like Anker? Recently I got a 200w gan one from Anker for $45. So just wondering what makes these better? Maybe I'm missing something here.

Apple chargers tend to be more efficient at charging and also sustain charging at maximum watts without shutting off due to overheating. It's the price you pay for quality components. That's not to say there's anything wrong with Anker, UGreen, Satechi, etc. chargers.

Got it for $40 in Dec and they are brand new original Apple. Contemplating $50 for a 2nd. The 140W are GaN chargers, though Apple does not advertise it somehow. https://www.chargerlab.com/teardo...n-charger/

200W total or 200W on a single port? The MBP 16 wants 140W on a single port. That's expensive for almost any charger, and the Apple at $50 is cheap then.

I have bought Apple AirPod headphones several times from woot and every single one of them was a fake, they look the part and mostly feel the part, but the sound quality was drastically worse, and the build quality as the wear out is worse, I can't imagine that these being legit

I haven't had a counterfeit, but Woot aren't what they used to be. bought three of those $15 "new from Apple" MagSafe chargers that Woot was selling and one was clearly used with yellowing on the cable and charger pad. Woot took days to reply, then wanted me to return them all rather that just replace the used one. I ended up just keeping it, which I guess is what they bank on.
