I used to buy a lot from secondipity, but last year all of the tools I received has been heavily used or just non fuctional, and they tried to ban me from returning stuff. not worth the risk
might be a good deal, but according to the reviews it is more likely they are hoping you won't return it
it should be risk free, but I'd rather not partake
I've been having a lot more issues lately with them shipping kits that are missing or have non-functioning batteries. It used to only happen occasionally, but lately it feels like 50/50. Tool-only purchases are usually fine though.

These guys are definitely a roll of the dice, but I've been lucky with my purchases from them. One trimmer they shipped to me had a missing guard, but they refunded me the cost of a new guard with no hassles. Whether the prices are worth any risk is up to each individual.

The last "open box" purchase I made from them was 2- 18V 4AH Ryobi batteries for $39 shipped, which was a steal. They arrived still factory sealed, to my surprise.

That is pretty good deal for the two batteries with the charger.

I always use credit cards for such things (and such sellers) for this exact reason. If they try any shenanigans, you can get it charged back and refunded by your credit card issuer. Sounds like their merchandise quality has gotten pretty iffy, and they're using the term Open Box very loosely, which means new, operable, and complete.

I had one order (pressure washer) come with a missing part (a nozzle). returned it and they sent me another one, this time another part was missing. i didn't want the hassle of a return so just ended up buying a nozzle from the store.

Yeah, would love to jump on that deal and other power tools they have, but the reviews are horrible across the board.

Curious that the images depict HP batteries, which this kit does not include. Also curious that the second image is of the words "CHARGER SOLD SEPARATELY".

It's well documented that this seller is more than a bit suspect. As a fellow SD member, I'm just making you aware of the low prices, not vouching for the seller. At best you get the deal you pay for; at worst you have to return for a full refund.

I believe this company also sells on eBay under the name Bullseye deals.

This place is a flip of a coin on what you'll receive. Could be brand new, could be a charger only(I've had that happen). They say they don't have time to check each package and trust the conditions of the items provided by the "vendor". Fairly easy to return but still takes time. Worth it if you need batteries or a cheap tool, just test thoroughly before keeping.

You're correct, they're bullseye_deals and toolsdirect.
