I have this exact set bought from a slickdeal probably 2 years ago and we use them a lot. Mine are strung under a covered porch though, so not getting direct rain on them.. I have not had any issues at all! Considering buying another set in case mine do die one day..

I have these and they have been outside on our fence for the last 1.5 years with no issues, they aren't faded or anything. Can't say the same for our outdoor Govee strip lights inside our screened in lanai that have turned yellow.

I'm not sure if these are exactly mine, Govee is confusing on the models, but I've had mine for 2 summers and I even left them out in a pretty decent winter here in NY and they seem to be fine.

Make sure the controller is covered and seal the lights with teflon tape. Ive had a couple controllers go bad in the rain, and bulbs go bad, here in western OR

I have had same on my back patio for 2 years and no issues at all. You just have to cover the controller from the elements.

3 feet - between lights... So I double up the strands and stagger them at 1.5 feet and they look great

Got these on clearance from Target. Worked great until it rained and they filled up with water

Looks like the weak water-entry spot is the cable not the bulb really. Can you use these bulbs with another cable?
