Oh I thought this was the same as the $15 set at Lowe's, which is a steal in its own right, but nope, this is actually a decent deal if you need to poke holes.

What's the issue with this set other than the bad hold? Are the bits low quality? Bosch is usually known for higher quality bits and power tools. Thanks. 👍

Bits are fine actually. Drill bits on a weak side and break easily. I gave it away because of idiotic rubber holders. You might think it is not a big deal before you try to get what you need out

Bought this set in 2020 and I would say it's nice to have around the house for quick DIY stuff for the household but I don't think I would take it in the field with me on a serious jobsite. Just my opinion.

Thanks for reminding me. Those rubber holder are HORRIBLE!!! Sounds petty but you're going to spend time being frustrated over it.

Great. I appreciate the feedback/update. So basically it's ok for every once and a while, but if your using it for consistent work, the rubber grip will make you go crazy. Valid.

I disagree. The drill bits in the OP's deal have a round shank. You can't use those if your drill has a hex chuck because the bits won't be securely gripped.

Of course you could also buy an adapter for your hex drill to allow the use of round shank bits, but why do that when you could just buy drill bits with a hex shank instead? That same seller also offers a Bosch 65-Piece Drilling and Driving Mixed Set MS4065 for $30.98 which looks like a decent alternative if you own a drill with a hex chuck:
