I didn't get the email, but I clicked through OP's link, and the points showed as pending once I made the $10 purchase.

Does this work regardless of the payment type you use? I assume so but thought I'd check.

got mines!! came in right away too.. spent $10 on a gift on Walmart with 5% paypal CB and then got $10 worth of points. Basically a free gift!
