Until you "seal" them and realize that they're rarely airtight. I used to use those, but the quality went downhill for some reason when they made them flat bottom. Try it yourself.
Ziplock makes the bags for Walmart, under the Great value brand name
Land O' Lakes makes Great Value butter for Walmart
Kellogg's makes the Great Value line of cereals
Sara Lee produces the Great Value bread made for Walmart
Conagra foods, which owns many very recognizable brand name food companies, produces many Great value food products, right out of their name brand factories.
Brands owned by Conagra that also make Great Value label foods for Walmart include:
Birds Eye
Marie Callender
Orville Redenbacher
Chef Boyardee
Mrs. Butterworth's
Van Camps
Duncan Hines
Vlassic Pickles
Dukes mayonaise and other spread products
Banquet
Pam
and many others...
So when people say Great Value products are inferior to name brand, they don't understand that many of their products, in fact the majority are just relabled as Great Value. Walmart has many many contracts with the largest brand name companies in the world, to produce Great Value products.
That being said, Walmart also has some inferior products made by true offbrand companies. Example: Their chocolate candy like their Snickers knockoff and Kitkat knockoff, are made by an offbrand candy company. That is why so many people hate on those as the chocolate does not taste as good as Cadbury or Hershey. So you do have to pick and choose when it comes ot Great value Products. However, when it comes to the staples, like bread, butter, veggies, etc., Walmart contracts with the biggest producers and the most well known, to get their GV labeled items.
