I get this prescribed by my dermatologist for both psoriasis and eczema. I've had them both all of my life and I'm 49 years old. This is the only over-the-counter product that even remotely works for me.
The amount of BHT used in cosmetics is low that it doesn't pose a health risk as it does not penetrate skin far enough to be absorbed in our system.

I like the idea behind Yuka, but in my opinion, it causes a lot of fear-mongering and makes people look at the ingredients in their beauty products without context. For example, Yuka doesn't even consider the percentage of ingredients used, so it cannot be accurate. Products are not good or bad in a binary sense. Knowing what ingredients are in a product is helpful, but you can't just call something bad because it has a safe amount of an otherwise risky ingredient. There are plenty of natural ingredients that can cause harm in larger amounts.

I have this and scanned it with the Yuka app. Yuka rates it: Bad 12/100 due to High-risk BHT ingredient.

i developed a severe allergy to it
at least the FDA made it illegal to put it in baby products

Vanicream is considered a competitor in the space with both of those products around the concept of "purity" in skin care lotion. I've tried all three brands over the years and have stuck with Vanicream for the last five years. It's a great skin care product.

Yuka is a bad as EWG ratings.
I prefer SkinSAFE and they partner with Mayo Clinic.

CeraVe has more fancy ingredients and Vanicream is more basic.
I rotate between Vanicream, CeraVe, and La Roche-Posay Lipikar. The last two are owned by the same company.
I have not tried Cetaphil's moisturizers.

My wife has sensitive skin and has used many various brands of moisturizing cream. She loves Vanicream the most, very moisturized. She uses Vanicream during winter time mostly. Cerave and Cetaphil are for summer. She also uses Lubriderm, Eucerin, NIVEA as foot cream. Aveeno is too fragrant and she stopped using it.

Ladies, does this help after tretenoin burns and flakes your face. Skin is so dry. Need a moisturizer that won't cause acne.
