True, but you will probably be waiting a long time for another deal like that.
It has not been under $70 in almost 5 years. Ever since it left Netflix & went to Peacock, it has pretty famously not been on sale. It only dropped to $70 briefly this past Thanksgiving/Black Friday. This is a good deal, relative to what it has been for years.
Pretty good! Although, this has dropped to $30 in the past

Unfortunately vudu/fandango is the worst damn streaming service for binging a show. If you watch to episode 3 and then fall asleep and it stops playing at episode 5, next time you want to pick up at episode 4, they make it a pain in the ass, and then you will forever have episode 5 sitting there in your "continue watching" section, till you manually remove it.

And if you want to go to a different device... Well... Good. Luck. sometimes it will carry over your continue watching stuff, sometimes it will be completely different. Its just an overall horrible experience, that I only deal with because they have the cheapest deals on shows.

On iTunes, if you stop when there are 3-4 minutes left in an episode, it will go to the NEXT episode when you go back to the app to resume. Thus, missing those last 3 minutes of the last episode watched.

Ha. That's pretty great. Sometimes on fandango there is the opposite problem... if you do a watch through, and then restart a watchthrough a year later, some of the episodes will start with 2 minutes left because it thinks you only watched part of the episode... A year ago...

Why is this shit so hard to figure out, lol.

Darn, I waited years to pick this up hoping to see it back down to the $30 range and finally gave up and bought it for $70 in November. Oh the things I could buy if I had my $20 back.....

Does this not go down in price very much anymore?
I remember buying this for 10 dollars a few years ago, it was a special to compete with Prime day or something

This is actually a very very good deal if you prefer the iTunes/Apple ecosystem. As others have shared this doesnt drop below $70 nearly ever

Does anybody's crystal ball know when this and other noteworthy shows will finally get remastered in 4K? I've already re-bought way too many movies in 4K. Trying to avoid the same drudgery with shows. πŸ€”

True, Vudu or Fandango app and interface is really really bad or dated - looks like they haven't done any upgrade for several years now.

Do you remember when the office went on sale on Vudu (Fandango at Home) for like $5 or $10? That was a price mistake but they actually honored it. Was up for a few hours overnight. Technically you are wrong as that was under $20 for the whole series.

I can't find the post but I will agree with your post. This is a good deal for a show that is incredibly rewatchable.

If you buy things on Apple you usually get free upgrades to 4k. Not so with Fandango.

It was briefly $9.99 on a price mistake, in, I believe, fall of 2020. Since then, it dipped to $29.99 around Black Friday 2020, and then once to $69.99 late 2024.
So in the past, 4.5ish years, this is the best price by $20 (Nov/Dec 2020–Mar 2025), at least on Vudu/FAH. It was $24.99 in 2019 on iTunes/Apple.
I don't recall any instances where Vudu/FAH did NOT honor a price mistake. They are very good about that. I know there's been at least 1 instance of Amazon & Microsoft each clawing back price mistakes.

I don't think Apple even has any shows for purchase in 4k currently.
Fandango at Home gives (inconsistent) 4k upgrades for movies. They do have a growing collection of shows available in 4k.
I've only seen 1 show upgraded for free on FAH, though: Friends.
