Great lantern. I have 3, one purchased years ago and two recently. The one from years ago still works. At $12-$13 I'd buy another 2 if I had somewhere to use em. I don't use the phone charging feature so I have no clue on that and how well it works but overall it's definitely worth it
Yep, these are really nice, and this is an incredible price. I have two of them from the BIG Energizer blowout back in '22.
Very recommended for camping and power outages.
Note that this is micro-USB charged, unless they updated that recently which I doubt.
Can this be hooked up to a solar panel for charging?
It is charged via USB, so if your solar panel has a USB output/port then yes (some of the foldable ones do). Otherwise you'd need something to go in between the two to dial down the voltage to USB levels.

Can you turn the emergency light off? I bought a lantern like this where you couldn't turn the emergency light off so it was annoying getting a red blinking light every minute you couldn't turn off.
It is a good deal but only if you are fine with micro USB charging. It does NOT have a USB-C charging port.
I bought one of those the last time it was on sale. Lack of USB-C is my only complaint. Micro-USB charges more slowly and is not compatible with many cell phone chargers. USB-C lanterns cost twice as much, though.

I got one of these in that "22 Energizer sale. It has a great warm mode that is not so harsh when out camping. Remember you're not looking for the brightest light when you're out camping, you just want something that's bright enough and easy to be around.
