Hey Slickdealers,
We're giving you an early look at some updates coming to the Slickdeals Mobile apps. The core experience you rely on stays the same, but we've made improvements to help you find great deals faster, more easily, and with less friction.
We get that changes like this can take some adjustment—especially when you've built up your own rhythm in the app. That's why we're treating this as an evolution, not a total overhaul. You'll still have the features you count on, now paired with a refreshed design and helpful upgrades inspired by community feedback.
What's Changing in the New App?

The search bar/button is at the bottom, you can see it in the very bottom image attachment.
It's not perfect nor is it exactly like the site but what app ever is? And they will take users suggestions into account, they already are. (I'm just happy an OP will actually be able to add images to their posts now lol, been asking for that for years)
I know your looking for Mobile suggestions but I have been asking to fix these basic desktop browser pages for a long time

I personally don't like or use redesign unless I have to, I'm a Classic user lol. But I was pleasantly surprised by the new app (didn't like the old one much). So give it a try before you put it down without trying it first. The devs and others that are working on the new app are actively and actually listening to what users say. So if you do download the new app when it's available, use the feedback button on it or post in here if there's stuff you don't like or that you want added or tweaked.

I imagine it moves to the top to give a search history, but that is exactly why it would be a bad idea to move to the bottom

Slickdeals doesn't actually sell anything directly itself, it's more of a gateway for users to find deals that other users have posted deals they found from various merchants, that have links in the post to the deal at the merchant for you to purchase from the actual merchant.
