This adds World Tour (a fifth episode with some good - and big - levels) and commentary. Also a rendering engine that has been pretty roundly panned. Source ports like RAZE (not sure about eDuke32) should also work for playing these levels. This doesn't come with the extra missions from Megaton (DC, Beach, Xmas), so be grateful you own it, because you can no longer purchase them.

I think the new levels are worth $2 fwiw.
Shake it baby!
They seemed amazing in 1997 when I tied up my school's dialup connection all day to download the enormous ~5 megabyte demo.

Any reason to get this if I already own Megaton edition?

The original game from 90th was very cool (for the time), the one released around 2015 was "meh" (another FPS, nothing really special). I must be getting older...

I was going to ask the same question! Looks like we have an answer:

Graphics must be horrible since it barely uses 1.2 GB of disk space.

Yeah I especially liked Mirage Barrage but the whole world tour is good. The final boss however is very easy to defeat. Also they introduce a new flamethrower weapon that's fun to use.

Thanks for the reply. For $2 I'll buy it. After doing some research, I had no idea the Megaton edition was delisted and is really sought after. Guess I got lucky when I bought it.

I believe this is known in some circles as the "cursed Randy version" of Duke3D. Gearbox doesn't need your money.
