You mean does the battery work with other Ryobi *USB LIthium* tools? Yes.

But keep in mind this is a WHOLE new/separate line vs the 18v Ryobi ONE line.

That's a hard pass for me, as I'm not buying into ANOTHER separate tool/battery ecosystem.

I find the small 4v system to be a great fit in between my other 18v/20v systems. It has it's place and Ryobi has a great selection of tools to pick from. The cardboard cutter gets used almost every week, the small screwdriver every month or so. The glue gun same thing it comes out and gets used for crafts for the kids when the 18v one is too bulky and cumbersome. Same goes for the flash lights, theres a few different options to pick, and i don't have to drag out the large shop lights.

IF you are comfortable paying $39 for a cardboard cutter, to each their own. I have too many other things I have/can use, to pay that much for a cardboard cutter.

As for the screwdriver, this SKIL unit :

is a much better deal at $19.

And as for FLASHLIGHTS, they are a dime-a-dozen. No sense in spending the $$ for a "Ryobi" branded unit.

I don't see option to add 2 3a batteries, only 1 2a battery.

I have the old version and the old old version (without a removable battery) and they are solid for light work. I originally got one for PC building, which it excels at, and still find myself grabbing it for minor repairs.
It ain't gonna drive a1/2 inch lag bolt through a maple 4x4, but works fine for things like door hinges and loose cabinet screws. I find myself doing a final 1/8 - 1/4 of a turn manually to get things fully tightened after using this with wood or composites.
For light duty stuff any more involved, I love the Milwaukee M12 interchangible head driver (I forget the model, but it has 3 different chucks and a closed pistol grip). Costs 4x as much, but I love that little thing.
