I used the Ace gift card deal from a few days ago to get $200 in gift cards for $160, then used that to buy the new multi head with edger combo. IOW for about $80 more than this deal I added the multi head.

Do you need the newer multi-head unit (or want another), or just the edger attachment? You can do the kit with the newer head unit and carbon-pole edger attachment kit for $200, or just the carbon-pole edger for $150, using the Ace egifter gift cards deal. Using the gift cards deal, you'd effectively pay $160 for the kit or $120 for the attachment.

I only need the attachment. If I'm unable to stop by Lowes tomorrow, I'll probably just end up doing your method since it seems that promo expires tomorrow.
