Super fun game. One of the best beginnings ever. (IMHO)
Yes. It's incredibly good. If you like immersive sim games like Deus Ex, you will LOVE this game.
This is the most underrated game ever. I wish I could wipe my memory so I could play this again without knowing anything about it

Agree that it's incredibly good, though I've not played Deus Ex (despite owning them on 2 different platforms), so my comparison would be with Bioshock - areas that were previously inaccessible become available as you build your skills tree and there's usually 2, sometimes three ways of unlocking them. Enjoyed it enough that I bought the Mooncrash DLC, though haven't got to playing that yet. It's on Gamepass too, and also part of PS Plus Extra catalog if you're reading this and have access to either of those.

First one good, second one was underwhelming unless you like shooting aliens on a script.

Just finished Prey. Currently playing Mooncrash now (DLC).
Really, really great story-driven FPS with RPG elements. Mooncrash is essentially a roguelike. Picked it up on CDkeys for 6 bucks.
Prey is Absolutely worth it.

This is an absolutely incredible game. It's up there with BioShock in terms of atmosphere.

If you're looking for a game to get immersed in, this is an easy recommendation. 10/10, an Arkane classic. i absolutely loved this game, and I don't throw 10/10s out there lightly.

other games I'd rate 10/10
Elden Ring
Dark Souls
Bioshock
Hades
FTL
Mega Man X
Hollow Knight

These are all timeless.

What first game? You mean Prey from the Xbox 360. This isn't related to that game in any way.

I'm not a huge gamer; This is the only game I've completed in the last probably 5 years. And I've completed it three times. Haven't been able to get into Mooncrash tho.

There actually was 2 Preys...he might be referring to the first one that took place on an Indian reservation and if I remember were sucked onto an alien ship (I didn't care for it as you had to run on ramps, almost like a roller coaster upside down). I think it came out sometime after HL2.

This game is nuts. It's an Immersive sim with open-ended story and gameplay systems and they did a great job making your choices matter, what with so many different possible endings. And they did a really good job on the moral dilemma aspects, by putting in info from the NPCs that conflict and you're left questioning just who it is you should trust. It's a real mind bender with so many great plot twists.
