Fwiw I keep all mine in a trash bag with a bunch of dessicant.

Or individual spools in gallon baggies with a dessicant.

Someone convince me not to buy this.

Currently store my filament (only keep 5-7 rolls at a time) in a smallish sealed rubbermaid container with a a rechargeable plug in dehumidifier (Eva-Dry style). Works fine but this looks mo-better.

Well, I'm not going to convince you not to buy it lol...
I bought a few ezy storage containers (they are great for filament storage) and was keeping keeping my filament (that needs to be kept dry) in there with desiccant. Aside for exposing the other rolls in there to air each time I opened it, I found it much easier to use these bags. I just keep them on the filament rack labeled and it's must easier to find and pull out when needed.

Just buy vacuum sealed luggage bags like these instead and you can also use them when you travel: https://a.co/d/7EZiPhi

Edit: I take it back. This slickdeals seems better.

Been looking for something like this since my washer/dryer room is also my filament storage place. I just keep them there naked, and pop them into a dryer for a couple hours before printing, but this should allow me to print with them right away

I use gallon zip lock bags or the Ziploc ones that came with my sunlu filiment. I bought a much of 20 gram dessicant and put 2 of those in each bag. Then I just keep the filiment in the bags, no vacuum sealing and the humidity level in them according to my meter is between 10 to 15 max. Usually around 12 percent

For anyone who needs convincing not to buy this. I have several spools in a big zippered bag with one of the moisture eliminators from the dollar store. Keeps the filament dry. Been doing that a few years now no problemo.

Funny enough you said that, I was actually debating the same thing a few minutes ago. 30 Filament bags seems like a lifetime supply but if I bought larger ones I could also use them for traveling too. I already use the manual travel style and have wanted to switch to ones with a pump so they could store even flatter vs trying to crush them with my skinny butt.

Was looking at these https://www.amazon.com/SUOCO-Comf...0C585WGPL. Could perform double duty.

FWIW these filament bags appear to be reinforced so might last more uses though, especially against rigid spools. I also might be able to use the Elegoo bags for loose ammo storage.

Those bags I linked are very thick and I think would be hard to rip. I got them specifically to travel with, but may try them for filament since I already have the pump. I'll try the small bags I already have and report back.

Thanks, I might order the ones you suggested. I have a 3 week trip coming up at the end of the month that will require staying in multiple cities / repacking of luggage several times so the travel style with pump could be very useful. Whatever survives that / leftover can be used for filament storage Wink

This is a good price for these. I usually buy https://a.co/d/bK7GXJK, which are the same, since I already have the pump. but the Elegoo ones are cheaper with the coupon.
