May I ask why? I tried using Fandango to buy movie tickets once and there was an additional $2 charge per ticket. Even with a 20% discount, it was cheaper to just buy them straight from the theater. Maybe fees vary by location, but unless they're offering some steep discount, I don't see any advantage to buying tickets though them.
Gotcha. It looks like that's $26/month though. There is a $15/month tier but it's only at "AMC Classic" locations (which the locations near me are not).
From what I'm seeing, the only thing of value that gets you is free tickets though (up to 3 movies a week), and you can't even get multiple tickets to the same movie (meaning no free tickets for the whole family from one membership). There aren't nearly enough decent movies that hit theaters to even justify using that. There are other perks like "free" drink and popcorn upsizing, but even at small prices, they're absurdly priced.
I could see it making sense on a month by month basis for particularly stacked months at the box office, or for someone who frequently buys for a group. But for most people (including myself), it just doesn't seem to make much sense. It would be a much better deal at 1 movie per week at half the price (even though higher price per movie, since most of those 3/week would go to waste anyways for 99% of people)

Yeah if you don't have AMC theaters it's not a good deal. The $15 a year (not per month) tier is pretty good for no fees and $5 rewards.
I gotcha. There seem to be a bunch of different tiers and versions of AMC Stubs (at least 5, which appears to range from just cash back to waived fees to free movies, and some are contingent to location) so it's a bit confusing. Apparently there's "Stubs A List Classic" membership which includes 1 free movie per week for $15/month, which seems like the best deal, but it's only available at "AMC Classic" locations, whatever that means (the locations near me are not Classic locations)
