The socket sizes - fractions of inches (SAE) instead of millimeters (metric)

Most modern cars use metric sized bolts

This is a very small set that may not have the size you need for some jobs, that said, 90% of jobs on a japanese car (metric) can be done with 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm. Your 10mm socket will get lost at some point as well since it is used most of the time, this is a common joke among mechanics, needing extra 10mm sized sockets.

additionally, a cheap way to supplement the other sizes you may need (7mm, 8mm, 17mm and 19mm) is to buy those sizes as wrenches. This is not too inconvenient since you will be using these less often and the small sizes will offer better maneuverability as a small wrench and the large sizes you may want a wrench to put more force on it to break it free.

Note: I didn't check the sizes included in this set. I am speaking generally of small ratchet sets.

Its not even a jokeā€¦. The 10mm socket ALWAYS goes missing. Its incredible really.
