Can Newegg put the Microsd card and usb-c adapter in a small envelope for you and mail it themselves by USPS for about $2? Probably, if they ask someone to do so.
Amazon has the huge infrastructure around the country, and distribution centers in AK. They can do this since they handle a couple orders of magnitude more commerce than a smaller company like Newegg. It's a challenge all smaller companies have against a behemoth like Amazon that has almost monopolistic control of the retail mail-order business.
Perhaps to encourage continued competition in the market, we should root for smaller companies to continue to survive, or we may all end up with higher prices in the future.

Btw, I was able to "make an offer" of $26.00 for 2 a couple of weeks ago when they ran the same promo and it was accepted. So, I would suggest you guys try it if you want to buy this item. I think they have lots of stocks.

No wonder NewEgg is failing so hard. Amazon is eating their lunches. I am cheering for NewEgg bankruptcy in the near future.

Yes, surely fewer choices and less competition will solve all. Amazon will be ethical as they already are.

I do like this card and the usb C adaptor. When I put in my MAIN PC using usb c adapter I get about 140 MB/s write speeds. And when I test it with crystal disk mark 160MS/s read and 159 MS/s write speeds which are really good. In comparision my 64gb usb stick gets about 9 MB/s Write speed. Big difference between 9MS/s and 140MS/s write speeds.
Now the 64gb sticks were only about 5 dollars and I bought about 6 of those to share with others.
I sort of wish Newegg shipping worked better for me.
