Also agree this is better.
Please explain how the other deal is better.
This Swift Go here has a Hexadeca-core (16 Core) processor vs an Octacore (8 Core) one in the Aspire. This has a QHD webcam, a better Wi-Fi card and is lighter compared to the Aspire which has neither of those. The biggest difference being that the display is significantly better on the Swift (400-nits 100% sRGB) vs on the Aspire (300-nits 45% NTSC).
So, how exactly is the Aspire better than this Swift?

I wish Slickdeals would stop allowing fake base prices that make something seem like a better deal than it is. Last year this same model with a 1TB SSD was selling for $550 at Costco, and the non-sale price on that was $750 (here's the expired slickdeal: https://slickdeals.net/f/17963478-acer-swift-go-14-touch-core-ultra-7-155h-16gb-ram-1tb-ssd-549-99-costco-b-m-ymmv).

This is a fine laptop for normal use, but no one is buying this at $950, and $550 is just a decent deal. Amazon has the same spec for $690 right now, for example.
