Walgreens photo sucks compared to CVS. Had horrible 8x10s of the same photo of my pets. Not worth the $1.99 imo.

The fact you don't know they use different machines, paper and ink at Walgreens for the 8x10 vs the 11x14s should tell others that you don't know what you are talking about.

At most locations these will be much better than the 8x10s and the only thing CVS has that are better are the repositionable posters and those cost a lot more than $2 for an 11x14.

In my experience, the quality of the photo you're printing makes a difference for 11x14's

In terms of size per dollar, the $4 Canvas deal is better as it is 320 sq in (80 sq in per $). This deal is 154 sq in (77 sq in per $).

So you're admitting that the quality is not consistent with Walgreens here.

Sometimes it only takes one really bad experience to lose future businesses. Just ask those who tried to order from Wingstop last week. People will never go back.

I gave Walgreens several chance and they ruined the outcome each time.

I just got two (two separate accounts) and both turned out great.

Also, both were ready to pickup less than five minutes after placing the order.

How many stores are you talking about over what time with I gave them a chance?

There are 5 Walgreens stores and 4 CVS that I hit up every three months (or more frequently). I've made literally hundreds of prints.

Of course there are consistently issues, different stores, calibrations, machines. This isn't a high end print shop that charges $80 for an 8x10.

It isn't consistent with CVS either even at the same location months at a time. Just picked up prints that looked like the magenta slider was jacked up. Sent the same file to Walgreens and both different formats has way more accurate color rendering (I've literally hosted an entire 80 person class of photographers on white balance, So I know a little bit about it).
