I've been waiting on the deal with the edger as well for $450 but it hasn't popped up since last year. Hope they bring it back soon. This is a decent deal though!

When the new head came out, I paid $350 for the pole saw alone.

I bought the 40v Ryobi weed eater with the pole saw. Should I stay with the 40v or should I get this Milwaukee deal instead. Would I be loosing a lot more power going to Milwaukee 18v.
I feel like my 18v Milwaukee tools are a lot more powerful than my 18v Ryobi however obviously I could tell the 40v Ryobi series has a lot more power.
I buy both because sometimes I can't justify spending a ridiculous amount for some Milwaukee tools yet I am aware I get a stronger, more powerful tool when comparing 18v series.
I just don't want to loose power but would love to know if the 8ah Milwaukee battery compares to the 40v series.

Yeah, but if the original price was $399, then with military discount it would be $359.
