I think I got one of these as a "bonus" item from a previous deal. Still haven't found a good alt use for them as I really don't need to disinfect anything. We just use spray bottles and microfiber towels to clean. Anyone have any good use cases?

I use it for spraying for bugs or weeds around the house. The electrostatic part means it can pull the chemicals into cracks or on the underside of the leaves and should ideally mean you have to use less of the chemicals. That said, I can't get this thing to not leak out half the chemicals when it's off so it probably ends up using more than a cheap hand pump sprayer.

I bought two of these last time and both electrocuted me when you pulled the trigger unless you hold them in a very specific way. Seems to be why they're on Woot.

I have the smaller version that was free from DT and it's still sitting in storage. Haven't found a use for it in which it would be better than a spray bottle. Granted my bottle is manual, it is a lot lighter and less hassle.

The main item is the bigger version of the 0.5 size that just hit front page.

Buying the one with the battery and the charger. It was a good price and maybe the free tool won't be total garbage.

I bought one of these to sanitize a nasty basement for about the same price and have never used it. A warning slip on the package warned against electrocution due to the ultrafine mist of conductive water this thing puts out and I ended up just using a pump sprayer because that did put the fear in me.

These were obviously overproduced for the covid lockdown sanitation bubble and are now being offloaded beneath cost.

I spray pesticide around the yard and entrance to the house for spiders, crickets, and Scorpinions.

Really beat using a hand pump.

When I bought mine through Woot and it started leaking Ryobi honored the warranty.

You can remove the nozzles and unscrew the center atomizer with a small flat head screwdriver and it now sprays a thin stream about 30ft. Could be useful for bug spray or something, or in my case, battery powered water guns for my kids. My daughter and I have the handheld ones and my son gets the line fed backpack reservoir one like a little water mini gun
