FYI Apples seeds don't grow true to seed. Meaning you will get a random type of apple, usually not a great eating type like a crab apple. In addition, you're going to be waiting about 7+ years to find that out. The best bet is to buy a grafted apple tree with the exact type you want and you'll also have fruit in 2-3 years. Best of luck!
Stock up because we're going to be picking our own fruit this season.

Thanks, got a couple. How long before my trees start bearing fruit? I plan to start keeping my apple seeds some day.

Good deal. From the picture and a feedback someone left, it's a clamp mount to any 1 1/4 inch pole. I'll pick my fruits in style this year instead of using my makeshift picker 😄

In the picture at the Walmart website they show someone cutting off a piece of branch to harvest an apple. That destroys the site(s) of future apples. I'd be an unwelcome pest in any apple orchard if I believed that's an acceptable way to do it.

How would you cut fruit without snipper on pole?

I'm sure you could make it work. Worst case scenario if it doesn't clamp tight enough you could pad/widen the handle at the spot you're attaching it to get a firm hold. It isn't a screw on connection. Not sure why you're getting down votes...

When fruit is ready they'll pull off without snipping needed. I have a wire one I've used for years that works under the same principle
