I got this keyboard and returned it. I don't know how to explain but the top part of keycap has weird shape that make it feel smaller on your finger while typing.

What that joystick can be used for? It doesn't look like there are any buttons on it

I bought this without the joystick when it was on woot for $50. Love the look and feel of the keyboard. It has very nice clicky switches which are loud. There are three types of mechanical keyboard switches, linear (they go straight down and are smooth, quietest), tactile (have a tactile bump, slightly louder), and clicky (have a tactile bump and an audible click that goes along with it, loudest). Gamers tend to prefer linear while typists prefer the last two. Clicky does tend to be the least popular. These switches in particular have a click when you press down as well as when you release. If you like clicky switches and the retro look of this keyboard then it's a great keyboard. If not then look elsewhere.

I did some searching to try and find this out. The joystick is basically 4 programmable inputs (not analog). You can set them to wasd or arrow keys for light duty gaming. It attaches magnetically to the buttons or you can use the b/a keys on the keyboard. It's not going to replace a real controller, but I don't think anyone expects it to. Some people use it for media controls or macros.
