Book one is the weakest to me - too Hunger Games-y, but I heard the publisher made Pierce Brown focus on that tone to capitalize on Hunger Games' popularity. After that, they get amazingly good!

It's excellent, get it now! Fantastic series. I was at the end of one of them so I had to immediately purchase the next one, they're that good.

Pierce Brown said in an interview that one of the major streamers was working on it. I'm not sure how far along in the process they are though.
Do no wrong? Did you read the books? He makes mistakes often and some lead to deaths of main characters. He learns from his mistakes. He is often outwitted by the multiple antagonists.
