I have one. This is the lowest price since 2023. Heavy but gets the job done. Fits under a sports car. Don't forget to buy Jack oil.
You have to be joking. This is so much faster than a car's jack. Not to mention that a scissor jack is nowhere near as safe/sturdy as a floor jack like this. I work on cars a lot, too, and your comment is not the comment of someone who works on cars a lot; at least not the comment of someone who knows what they're doing.
I work on cars maybe once a year and see the value of a floor jack. I got kids and a wife I need to attend to so any time saved is worth money spent, especially if I'm saving a ton on labor.

Using a scissor jack 4x to complete a brake job is a real pain. And lifting a vehicle up from a center point to get the entire front or rear up for jack stands - you can't do that with scissor jacks.

Work smarter, not harder.

Very good deal for a solid jack. Bought this at previous lowest price in 2023 as guitarzan1958 stated. Almost considering buying it again because you never know when you have a friend that wants to break a sweat with you to fix a car.

Would this low profile still work for an SUV? Like Honda Pilot or Acura MDX?

Lift Height, Maximum 19-7/8 in.

Will 20-inches lift your vehicle high enough?

A block of wood or a jack extension fixes this problem when i had a lifted XJ

20" is enough, I believe. The jacking point is about 10" from the ground and my current ramp lifts the car up by 7". I plan to use the floor jack to place the car on jack stands, and also to use the floor jacks as a primary failsafe if the jack stands fail. I just don't know if a low profile jack, extended to 20" would be considered safe enough in case the jack stands fail.

If you happen to have the old jack stands, even if not recalled, HF decided to take them back under a voluntary recall. They will give you MSRP for the old jack stands. I was able to upgrade during a sale and they also gave me a gift card for the difference. This would be a great time to upgrade to stands with locking pins.

No jack is considered a suitable safety device. If you happen to be removing the wheels, store them under the car near where you will be working.

I need to buy that 3 ton Pittsburgh Low Profile Jack, have the 1.5, but its doesn't lift high enough. Still a great Jack though very light to carry.

Might be a good time to buy if and when tariffs effect prices in the future
