Great lens for folks that want a challenge with manual focus... Get images most lenses cannot capture.

Better yet the 75mm focal length has larger flares than the rest of the lineup which gets progressively less the wider you go.

That said, it's pretty heavy and I know some of you out there have nimble wrists so take that into account if you want a run and gun light setup.

Side note: Now that Sirui has released the 20 and 40mm Autofocus Anamorphics, I would invest in those if doing video.

Edit: Additionally, the 1.33x wider view compensates almost completely for the 1.5x APS-C crop factor. With an effective focal length of nearly 80mm.

and for whatever reason MFT version is always the most expensive one.
just like the sigma 150-600 lens that somehow cost more on the MFT mount than FF mount.

Manual focus has no bearing on "get images most lenses cannot capture".

Flares are about the same on all models -- the wider you go, the more chance they have at curving at the edge of the frame.

Heavy doesn't mean you need nimble wrists...you need strong arms to keep stable.

Those new autofocus anamorphics are for select mounts only. At a much higher price point. Anamorphics are typically used for video.

The 1.33x wider view doesn't "make up" for APS-C crop factor...it's an indication of the anamorphic effect. Higher ratings mean you have a wider (but skinnier) field of view. Crop factor is an entirely different thing regarding the sensor size's effect on focal length.

I own the 24mm and this 75mm as well as both 40mm and the newer 20mm AF (including the 1.25x Anamorphic adapter), but nice try trying to tell me they my personal experience and actual usage isn't true.

It's a manual lenses and anamorphic that I was suggesting for photography, not video. You must be a robot not to be able to understand the nuance in that.

As for the nimble wrists, it's commentary on the fact these are heavy for their size - you don't have to be pendantic about the arm strength... Talk like a real person someday.

As for crop factor vs FOV, so tell us all how much wider is in view with 1.33x compared to a lens that has 1.5x crop factor.

The lens doesn't have a crop factor, it's the camera's sensor in the body.

Please. Seriously. Stop. You're getting so much of this so wrong.

Ah, EF-M mount only. Canon's abandoned bastard mount 🤭 Most likely the last stock in this mount.
