About this game: - The mystery is the name of the game in this third-person action shooter. Take the role of Jesse Faden, who has found herself in charge of a mysterious government organisation and tasked with fighting off the supernatural entities that have usurped the halls of their headquarters.
- In navigating the winding halls of the Oldest House, Jesse will find herself face-to-face with all manner of mysterious foes and reality-defying creatures. Learn more about the elusive entity known only as the 'Hiss', as you undo the carnage it has wreaked upon the facility.
- To defeat the impossible, you must become the impossible. Various skill trees and unlockable abilities allow you to tailor your playstyle to your liking. Master the power of flight and telekinetically turn any nearby item into deadly a weapon as you hurl all manner of objects at anything that stands in your way.
- Control Ultimate Edition also includes two pieces of DLC content; The Foundation and AWE. The Foundation has Jesse exploring a large cavernous ruin that has been found beneath the Oldest House. AWE is a crossover story between Control and Alan Wake, and includes the eponymous character himself in a gripping story spanning both of the games.

I never knew there was an actual connection between the games. That's great
One of the entire DLCs revolves around Alan Wake.
PS: Does this game run fine on a mechanical HDD? I'm almost out of space on my NVME SSD so i put some games on the HDD.

I was in the same situation with an almost-full NVMe SSD. I played through the entire game from a SATA HDD. Load times were longer than I'd prefer, but nothing unreasonable or unexpected.
