There are some workarounds like installing a second GPU just for physx. Moral of the story- would never ditch a card like 4090 for a 50 series.
Only PHYSX (32-bit) is not supported in Nvidia 5000 series cards. These are mostly certain (NOT ALL) older games, like 2015 and earlier. I don't know how this affects any of those games, but here is a list from PCGAMINGWIKI: https://www.pcgamingwik
