Brand: Amazon Basics.
strike thru is "typical price" 129.99
seems like a decent sale for a reputable generic

Mosquito season is almost here. Will this work as a bug zapper? 😈

It'll definitely cook a few, but arguably the CO2 output will attract them to the area around it so there will not be a net fewer mosquitoes. Backyard chickens on the other hand seem to dramatically drop populations (at least for my yard 🤷)

I've had chickens for 12 years. They don't care for mosquitoes.

That's wild, here the free roamers have dramatically cut down on the biters in the back yard, or else about the time I got chickens there were fewer mosquitoes, we need to randomly assign chicken ownership to get some proper data

I bought this. It's meh. Kinda a pain in the ass to assemble. Annoyed cause I went to Costco a week after I put it together and they have the pellet one for $99. So now I have a pellet one and this.

Be sure to secure this well. I had one and the top is like a sail with any kind of wind.

Blew right over and dented the top pretty bad.

Took me over an hour to build this. The protective covering on the heat deflectors was very annoying to remove. The instructions were not very clear but it was easy enough to figure out. Don't ever leave this around without a propane tank in it, it is necessary to keep the weight there and not have it tip over from wind. Throws a good amount of heat, considering getting a second one.

I've had mine (actually a different one purchased from Sams) tip over in high winds even with a tank. I bungee it to the railing now when not in use.

I haven't had an issue with high winds. I put dirt in the base instead of water. Considering getting another one as well.

I got additional 10% coupon automatically applied to the price making it $61.94 plus tax. Even better.

Got a second one. It's a pain in the ass to remove all the protective coatings but for the price I couldn't be happier. Very nice quality for the price. Lights up easy and gets hot. Put sand in the bottom and leave the tank in for weight.
