FYI. This pairs fine to an iPhone even though it's not advertised as ios compatible. It works perfect with the Delta emulator.

I'm using this with a 6.7" phone (Pixel 8P) and the controller easily fits the phone + a right angle USB-C adapter to allow the phone to charge while inside the controller.
For anyone playing WuWa, it won't work unless you pre-connect an a XBox controller on BT.

Is your review the Tina review, because I just got to check in the reviews, then you said that and it's just like what she said
There are some nice things about it.
It's fairly well built and feels pretty comfortable to hold. The Hall sticks and triggers are also nice. It maintains its rigidity even when stretched to the max, and the stretch springs feel really nice. It also has a very nice plastic tab holding the phone from falling through, which some other controllers miss, and its weight isn't too heavy.
However, there are quite a few major downsides.
There's no rumble or vibrations of any kind, and the polling rate is insanely low at 66Hz, while all other phone controllers start at 125Hz. It only supports D-Input over Bluetooth. It can't be connected directly to a PC when game streaming to reduce input latency. And because it's D-Input, it isn't recognized in many native Android games that only support X-Input.
Another massive issue is the accompanying Android app, it's terrible.
The other Android app designed for their Ultimate controller is usable, unlike this one.
Then there are problems with Samsung phones and Gboard. When the controller is connected, the keyboard doesn't work at all, and the phone becomes laggy and freezes. For me, turning off Gboard fixed the buggy keyboard, but there are still many other issues with responsiveness and occasional freezing. Most of these issues went away when I switched from the S24 Ultra to the Galaxy S21.
There's a reason these dropped to $27 just 3 months after release (on woot). The GameSir G8 and other similar controllers are far better, even at twice the price. The only way such a barebones controller would sell well is if its list price was $30 or $25.
Overall, this controller is kind of disappointing, especially coming from 8BitDo, a brand I had come to know for their quality in everything. This controller is worse than their current lowest-priced regular-size controller, the 8BitDo Ultimate (far worse) just with a spot for a phone stuck onto it.
I tried it with gamepass cloud streaming, steam link, and maybe a tiny bit of latency with gamepass, but it is cloud steaming
S25 ultra here, so

No latency that I can perceive. It's very usable. Maybe I'm not playing crazy competitive games. I do play CODM also but I see no differences from wired or BT. I'm on iOS. People on Amazon were attributing it to the g-board.
