I have this and tile, and I've been liking the tile better because of longer battery life and integration with Life360.

Mine last much longer than 2 months. Maybe a year or so. It could be it's picky about using quality batteries. I use Panasonic.

SmartTag2 has something Tile has promised for years, Ultra-Wide Band. I think UWB is limited to Samsung phones.

This article has a nice comparison chart with other trackers, including Apple's.

I have the tile, samsung and chipolo trackers...I feel the samsung update more frequently in heavier areas (wish Google would turn on tracking for android users)....the tiles seem to update the least IMO

UWB is limited to Plus, Ultra, and Fold Samsung phones only. Base s25 and anything lower don't have it.

Did it last only two months or do you just keep getting notifications asking you to replace it? I had the notifications early to replace the battery but they were all working fine for months. I only replaced the battery because I couldn't update since the battery was "low"

I have a tile.. misplaced my wallet and found the wallet before the tile went off.. it didn't.. but the ap said "found wallet". it had fallen off my armrest to the backseat of my truck..

i think i have used it once or twice successfully before..
I do like how the tile app lets me use one phone to find other phones too. if you don't have the tile ap but multiple phones, you should install it even if you don't have tile. i found it handier than googles find my device. faster access. easier access.

I bought these last time to put in my car. They work except in the winter when it gets very cold the battery shows low even if it's a new Duracell battery from Costco.

That's just a problem of lithium batteries.

Mine work great. Literally every time I leave the house without my keys I get a notification. The one in my car pings regularly as people walk by it.
