I'd spend a couple bucks more for Lavazza Super Crema which is also on sale. Prefer that flavor over this.

Thanks OP. Also there is a brand code 065ZPZ8RLQ7O for 10% off some products at Italy's Best Coffee. Creama e Aroma was $90 for 6 with it. Not great but better than nothing for those looking for any other flavours.

just opened and it's definitely closer to a dark roast than a med roast. Pretty shiny, oily and dark, not quite french roast. Still dialing in the grind size but there's a "savoriness" that isn't unpleasant. The bag I received was roasted recently so still able to get pretty decent. For the price and my simple taste buds, I can't really complain.

Agreed. This one was pretty bad.
Wonder how Lamborghini edition will be.

nice, thanks.. I'll try Super Crema for a change. I'm not that picky and it's worth waking up to.

Just one data point: I bought this two times and loved it. The most recent time I bought it, the beans tasted old and over-roasted. So for me, the consistency has not been there.
Hate to jump on the bandwagon, but I've not had that issue with Super Crema.
Can recommend the pour over style where you pour from a height, slowly and steadily.

This is a good price as coffee has gone way up in price. I just arrived in Italy for a month and the Lavazza I buy here is $12.99 for 2.2 lbs. on sale. Last year it was $8.99 on sale.

Serious espresso drinkers: do you go with this, or Costco, or neither?

I'm about 3/4 done with a bag I got last time and I enjoy the flavor. Will be trying out the Super Crema next.

Double Ditto.

I drink a lot of coffee my go-to brand is Lavazza... EXCEPT Espresso Italiano. I think it's their rejected beans that they over-roast and sell to unsuspecting souls. Probably why it's the only one that regularly goes on sale for a low price.

I don't understand all the thumbs-up votes. Confused
