Heads-up - regular STA-BIL (red) does nothing to protect your equipment from ethanol fuel gumming. If you want this, you need STA-BIL Marine (dark blue).
I confirmed this directly with STA-BIL's technical support department.

Interesting because STAR BRITE Star Tron appears to claim ethanol protection.
And both companies have small engine specific products.

Thanks. The description says effective in ALL gasolines (their emphasis) including ethanol. Ugh, who knows. My guess is red works, but the support team is probably right that blue is the better option.

Which is why I purchase ethanol free "rec gas" from the gas station and continue to use this stabil.
Georgia has "rec gas ", I assume all states do to?
I just checked their Stabil website and this and the Marine grade both say they protect against ethanol fuel. The red stabilizer is effective for two years and the blue stabilizer is good for 1 year.
Let's play devils advocate and say that the blue does a better job in a wet and very humid environment, like storing a boat on a lake.
I've got 10 years of using this red stabilizer to keep gasoline fresh in the humidity of Georgia, inside sealed gas jugs. Never had an issue with gumming or fuel not burning.

I mix them both in the gas can as soon as I get home from the gas station. It's cheap insurance.

Same here. Been using this with ethanol gasoline in my pressure washer for years and it's been working and starting with just one pull every time.
