The kids love this. We like the spicy version of this, same name but has spicy or hot in the name

To one pound very cold ground round:

Add 1-1 1/2 Tbs. Montreal S.S.
2-3 Tbs. A1
1/8 cup real bacon bits
1/4 cup shredded cheese of your choice.
A sprig or two of fresh parsley, minced, if you have it.
(Somehow this is not too salty)

Mix thoroughly and form into 4 even balls. Press firmly in burger press. (Necessary because the add-ins make for a loose consistency)

Return to refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour before grilling. Handle gently.

As far as a better steak and burger seasoning, I prefer Hickory Crisp from Alden Mill, but it's much harder to find, and rarely on sale. I usually end up ordering it direct.

I used it often on most things. It's a good salt/pepper + a few others-type of spice

yeah, while this particular size might be on sale, its price per oz is higher than almost every other package size on that page.

It's my favorite so far. Great on steaks and burgers.

Highly recommend as a pre-made. It's not a super exotic flavor profile. Just know it adds a lot of salt so skip adding your own if using this. I use it on steaks burgers and/or veggies once or twice per week.

Chicago for steaks if you want similar but better.

Applewood for burgers is good.

It's simple really, I see a sugar free seasoning for a great price and I buy it.

Just FYI, this burns on the grill in high temps. Don't recommend for infrared grills unless you like little pieces of ashes on your steak.
