I love Razor keyboards (never had an issue) but Razer mice are horrible. They use some faulty switches or something every single razor mouse I have ever owned always end up misclicking or double clicking the left mouse button. I have owned quite a few because I like the keyboards so much I keep buying their crappy mice to match anyways there are a lot of other brands out there that make quality equipment so I would look elsewhere for your mouse!

this specific model has optical switches, it won't misclick/double click.

Definitely spotty. Some of their old mice were good. Habu was great.
Currently Basilisk has been fantastic but can't speak for the rest of their line up.

Reviews on this one seem quite good but I'll wait for some more comments on the issues with it before I decide if I want one lol

I've used 2 RVU and 1 Viowr V2 Pro over the last 3+ years without issue. I don't think Razer mice have any reputation if double clicking issues. Now Logitech on the other hand…

razer 100% does have that rep, trust me bro Feel my pain of getting schwacked online because of my faulty left mouse button. The horror is real! I will say I have a wired viper i bought on sale cheap and I haven't had any clicking issues out of it yet. It does suddenly stop working and need a few blows from compressed air to get working again( usually at inopportune times) but I am not faulting it for that optical and dust can't get along.

I just stopped buying these premium mouses and keyboard after I had switch defeats on two Logitech high end mouses and two keyboards. They don't deserve this premium price. A $9 EVGA mouse just works great for me.

100% their mice are garbage. This brand never should have made it and the mouse space is worse-off than when they entered it

Had a razer orochiv2 and viper for years, no issue, just wash your hands and don't blast your DNA all over it and the switches hold up fine

I live the shape and the ergonomics of this mouse. It feels more premium than my Logitech G Pro x Superlight 2. The clicks are smoother. However, it started having scrolling issues and the battery life is really bad

I remember I bought a Deathadder and it literally lasted a week before it started to have click issues. Logitech I've had 1 mouse issue since my 2007 on my G604 mouse. I got a Razer Viper V2 Pro and that mouse will randomly spam inputs on my computer several times a day from how bad the software is. Logitech uses truly onboard macros that don't require software to interpret the commands, and this software issue (due to Windows OS, lag, etc.) never happens in onboard mode.

But you have to deal with their horrible software to map any keys. It truly is terrible.

Advice against razer products.

There was a time I had virtually all of my peripherals and even a laptop from Razer, but their stuff has gone way downhill in quality. I have since gotten rid of all their products. Logitech's G is much better and more reliable in my experience.
